The Makita LS002GD202 40V 2×2.5Ah 216mm XGT BL Slide Compound Mitre Saw Kit is ideal for professional carpenters and kitchen fitters. It comes with the 40V LS002GD Slide Compound Mitre Saw that has brushless technology to ensure high performance and a longer tool life. The saw has a 216mm diameter blade with 30mm bore. The motor can generate a no-load speed of 4800rpm, allowing this blade to make short work of tough, thick wood with a maximum cutting capacity of 70 x 312mm. This makes it ideal for making long and deep cuts into boards. To ensure your cuts are as accurate as possible, the integrated LED lamp casts a shadow of the saw blade onto the workpiece as an exact cutting line. This combined with the rail-forward design, which allows the rear of the machine to be placed close to walls, makes the LS002GD efficient and easy-to-use. For safety there is an electric brake which stops the machine in the event of jamming and this saw can easily be connected to a dust extractor to remove harmful particles in the air. This saw is sold as a kit that includes two 2.5Ah batteries, a charger, dust bag and hex wrench.
