Makita LS0815FLN 240v Sliding Compound Mitre Saw
The Makita LS0815FL 240V Sliding Compound Mitre Saw is a cost-effective slide compound mitre saw with an integrated laser maker. It is ideal for DIY enthusiasts and tradespeople that need to make accurate crosscuts and mitres in wide materials. Four steel bars with 6 linear ball bearings ensure a smooth and precise sliding action when making cuts and the rigid, cast alloy base and twin parallel slides give a high level of accuracy with the blade at any angle. A soft start 1,400W motor provides the power which will run the blade up to 5,000rpm without load. Twin material support bars are fitted either side of the base plate which also has a left side sub fence with a fixed fence on the right side. The stock clamping post can be fitted to either side.
A soft grip handle makes this saw comfortable to use and a carry handle makes it easier to transport. In fact, this saw weighs only 14.2kg which adds to its portability. A sliding sub-fence is fitted on the left hand side as well as work supports on each side and a soft start offers added safety. This Compound Sliding Mitre Saw is sold with a TCT blade.
